Chinese firm buys 15 percent of Farrel Creek Cypress LNG plays
Progress Energy Canada and partners announce a four party deal with China Petrochemical Corp via affiliates acquiring 15 percent in Farrel Creek and Cypress gas plays and a stake in the Pacific Northwest LNG export project near Prince Rupert BC. CPC also signs a 3 million tonne per year LNG supply deal with Petronas for 20 years.
