Whole Farm Insurance worth a second look
The Provincial government introduced Whole Farm Insurance Program as a pilot for 1997 and 1998. It offers fast cash payments for sharp income drops, no premiums, a small $100 claim fee, and requires crops insurable under Canada BC crop insurance. Eligible farmers should review the 1997 Claim Guide and call the Ministry of Agriculture at 1 888 576-3276.
