Chetwynd District Council names new finance chief and admin
The March 23 meeting saw Harry Mueller newly appointed Director of Finance, with Mike Redfarn chosen as District Administrator effective April 6. Redfarn formerly treasurer 1985-90. council also honored Sherri Smith for long service on the Public Library Board. The council discussed a volunteer recognition policy and chamber contracts, plus RCMP 1998 stats and capital spending under budget. A passive air quality system is planned for the airport, with decisions delayed pending data.
