Regional Heritage Registry Seeks Nominations in Peace River
The Peace River Regional District announced a Regional Heritage Registry to recognize locally significant properties. Paul Solmes notes nominations are nonbinding, with no current budget for the registry, and designation informs developers but does not affect zoning or taxes. One nomination exists: the old German Literary Museum at Toms Lake. Three other heritage properties already exist regionally. Nomination forms are available from the Economic Development office or the Regional District, call 1-800-670-7773 for details.
