Clearcut logging planned near Williston Lake stirs concern

Hudson's Hope officials pressed Canfor and the Ministry of Forests after a meeting about five year plans to clearcut blocks around Williston Lake. Canfor outlined harvests of 60 to 70 hectare blocks within 50 meters of the high water mark, while Forestry stressed 50 meter buffers around watersheds.
