Canfor plans to replace old beehive burner in Chetwynd
Maureen Killian Gammon reports Canfor intends to exchange a non compliant beehive burner from Taylor BC for a used unit in Chetwynd with Ministry of the Environment approval. The ministry aims to phase out beehive burn ers, urging energy use with efficient multi chamber incinerators and a joint proposal with West Fraser Mills where feasible.
