Diabetic Education Clinic Opens at Chetwynd General Hospital

The Chetwynd General Hospital and Health Unit Continuing Care Program announce a five clinic Diabetic Education initiative funded by the Hospital Community Partnership Program. Dawson Creek Hospital staff start the program with Dietician Stephanie Staus and Home Care Nurse Sharon Berglund joining later. a certificate on completion enables 80 percent reimbursement for glucose monitor strips through Pharmacare after a 375 dollar deductible.
