Bev Wice of Chetwynd is among 5000 Canadians selected to carry ocean water across Canada for the Trans Canada Trail Relay 2000. Water drawn in Tuktoyaktuk on Feb 19 travels by foot ski snowmobile horseback ride cycle skate and paddle to Peace River and Calgary before a Sept 9 closure ceremony in Ottawa.
