Legion branch closes as community fails to field leadership
A Royal Canadian Legion branch in Chetwynd faces closure after a November meeting failed to recruit a full executive. BC Yukon command will hold a members meeting to elect leaders who can decide the branch’s future, with public notices to follow. The move aims to keep the branch open, not liquidate assets, as efforts continue to find local volunteers.
