District council returns old airport building to original owner
Chetwynd district council unanimously passed a resolution returning ownership of the old airport building on Wabi Hill to the Tansi Friendship Centre, which once used it as the community hall. An amendment would have the district cover restoration costs. Additional items covered Earth Hour plans for March 28 and an update from BC Hydro, plus a note from Solicitor General John van Dongen on June driver test dates and an expanding examiner schedule to reduce wait times.
