Canadian Freightways designs heated trailer for mill rolls
Canadian Freightways created a specialized heated tri axle trailer with a false ceiling to haul mill rolls for Louisiana Pacific. The rolls cannot freeze, so the design keeps them warm. Rolls are shipped to Vancouver for re machining and back. Bruce Jardine and Ron Shultz lead the Chetwynd operation. The firm has over fifty years in business and operates worldwide with Consolidated Freightways as a sister company.
