71 year old completes 40 kilometre swim in Canada
Alfred Rothlisberger finished a 40 kilometre swim at the Chetwynd Leisure Pool after starting November 21, 1991. He swam 600 metres daily at 5:30 am until February 24, 1992, earning a certificate and pin from the Recreation and Sports Branch. He urges seniors to adopt fitness, quit smoking four years ago, and jokes about a future career as a professional food taster.
