Northern Health approves 426 million budget for 2003 04
The Board of Directors of Northern Health approved a 426 million dollar budget for 2003 2004 projecting a 3.8 million deficit offset by 2002 2003 surplus. Chair Harry Gairns said the plan aims for balanced budgeting over two years with targeted service funding and rising costs managed by efficiency and strategic nursing recruitment. The board also approved a Palliative Care strategy development.
