Talisman Energy named top Canadian corporate citizen
Talisman Energy ranks in Canada's top 50 Best Corporate Citizens per Corporate Knights Magazine for 2010. The company touts its commitment to transparency and environmental responsibility, noting initiatives like shale operating principles and community donations. Spokesperson Tom Neufeld from Calgary says the efforts show good neighbour policies. A $250,000 donation supported Fort St. John’s rain harvesting program at the Pomeroy Sports Centre last year.
