Aboriginal Day Celebrated in Chetwynd with Culture and Dance
On June 21 National Aboriginal Day, Tansi Friendship Centre and Moberly Lake members organized an all ages celebration in Chetwynd. Local musicians performed and families danced on the grass while leg wrestling drew tense matches. Beverly Lambert, a cultural ambassador and traditional dancer, contributed a special addition to the day.
