L P Reopens Plant As Labor Talks Move Forward
Louisiana Pacific begins recalling employees over a month to resume operations at the site. The move follows a shift in the effluent system from freeze crystallization to evaporation by T N L Construction. Union rep Curtis Dahl notes a possible start date around August 6 1993 and says the Labour Relations board has asked for contract submissions from L P and Local 448 of the Communications Energy and Paperworkers Union with a binding contract likely.
