Peace River Regional District Weed Control Inspectors Begin Field Checks

The Peace River Regional District launches a weed control program under the BC Weed Control Act with twelve inspectors split between North and South Peace. Beginning May 23, 1989, inspectors will survey priority quarter sections from 1988, issue weed notices for any infestation, and place responsibility on landowners to implement control measures before seeding.
