Two delegations spoke at the council meeting. Dennis Weightman and Tom West sought permission to erect a secure equipment building at Rotary Park Speed Skating Oval to house a Zamboni tractor sweeper and related gear. The club hopes this enables hosting the 2004 Pats and supports community skating events.
