Chetwynd Welcomes New RCMP Constable Ryan Lemay
Chetwynd gains its newest RCMP constable, Ryan Lemay, arriving May 25 from Edmonton. He chose the north detachment for its medium size and variety, with duties spanning traffic, school liaison, and general policing. Lemay, whose father served 27 years, says the town’s quiet suits him and that he feels warmly welcomed amid interest from residents. He plans a five year posting and notes the friendly response as he settled in.
