Ball Park Society Moves to West Side of Multiplex
At a recent council meeting the Ball Park Society said it moved to the west side of the multiplex. A soil analysis and cleanup followed, old fencing and dugouts were removed, the loggers sports area cleaned, land levelled and fenced. The swimming pool diamond received a new backstop, while 22 adult slow pitch teams kept busy on four diamonds by the multiplex. Remaining tasks include seeding fertilizing building dugouts bleachers and outhouses plus a hydro pole and water main request. Council praised the society for its progress and ongoing support.
