Community fundraiser to help ex-Chetwyndite Matt Thola ski again
Brenda Reutzer organizes a June 12 fundraiser at Cottonwood Hall to replace Matt Thola’s stolen sit ski. Thola, a former Chetwynd student who survived a 2006 spinal injury and dreams of world travel, seeks about $5,000 for a new sit ski as part of his 9 Lives Adventures project. Community support has poured in via Facebook and local donations.
