Manslaughter charge laid in teen death case
A 17 year old is charged with manslaughter in the death of 24 year old Lonny Bensen after a June 1 stabbing at a Wabi Crescent home in Chetwynd. The suspect, unnamed under the Young Offenders Act, was sent to Vancouver for psychiatric assessment and will appear in Dawson Creek court on July 3.
