Council endorses National Neighbourhood Party
At the June 1 council meeting the town endorsed the National Neighbourhood Party, a Canada 125 project that hosted millions of Canadians in 10 000 gatherings. The non profit now proclaims the second Sunday in June as a yearly national celebration and Mayor Lasser will declare National Neighbourhood Party Day in Chetwynd for Sunday June 13 1993.
