Egyptian pyramid exhibit built by Windrem students in Chetwynd
Windrem Elementary School teachers John Davidson Norine Koecher and their grades seven and six seven students created a 16 by 16 by 12 foot pyramid in the gym filled with Egyptian treasures secret passages and a golden mummy The class also produced a Cleopatra play handmade jewelry and Egyptian art The exhibit opened to parents on Friday June 4 after ten weeks of work Steve Williams was plastered in a head to toe medical cast for 90 minutes to simulate a mummy A one hour tour and 20 minute play are planned for visitors to learn about ancient Egypt.
