Family Fest draws 1000 plus to Recreation Centre
Tracy Wrafter reports the first annual Family Fest drew over 1,000 attendees May 30 at the Recreation Centre. The event featured a kid parade, games, craft activities, face painting, booths, local and out of town entertainment, and free activities except for an indoor band and food booths. Organizers led by Marcie Fofonoff aim to make it an annual community celebration showcasing local talent and resources.
