Northeastern BC digs begin amid environmental history study
Archaeologist Keary Walde leads the first major Northeastern BC excavation since Charlie Lake Cave, at a Gutah field site 176 km north of Fort St. John. The project links 10 000 to 12 000 years of environmental change with pollen and vegetation studies, supported by the Royal BC Museum and the BC Oil and Gas Commission.

Critters and beasties of Moberly Lake
June at Moberly Lake shares bird life notes from July focusing on juvenile cowbirds following foster parents, a grounded grosbeak, pine siskins, and loons reacting to a mysterious large black object offshore with locals attributing it to wind currents or sailboat wakes.
