District of Chetwynd plans to ask BCUC to review and align gas rates with regional levels amid stalled talks with Terasen on the operating agreement. Mayor Evan Laugstad notes local rates are higher than neighbors and expects a substantial reduction, with continued negotiations and BCUC hearings anticipated.
