Plan to improve walking trails in Chetwynd explores lighting and Expo Mountain rehab
Chetwynd's Community Improvements Committee finalizes a discussion based plan for upgrading the town's walking trails. It presents options for trail lighting, Expo Mountain revamp, gathering areas, and extending the trail west from the visitor information centre. No costs or conclusions are provided yet. Some work is already underway as tree hardware and lights were removed and patchwork repairs made. Coun. Larry Vezina supports the upgrade options. Please see Council page 2.
