Chetwynd to upgrade sewage lagoons after Golder report
An engineering study by Golder Associates for the District of Chetwynd found the current sewage lagoons insufficient for the town’s population and linked effluent toxicity to Pine River. The plan includes deepening lagoons, subsurface aeration, and a fourth aerated cell at a cost over 4.5 million dollars, with planning costs of 84 thousand.
