Echo interviews BC conservation officer Ken Owens about mandatory regulations for Thinhorn Mountain Sheep hunts in the Peace region. Rules specify hunters may target rams with full curl aged eight years or older, with aging by horn growth annuli or side view. A hunting incident near Adams Creek on Sept 4, 1993 ended with a 3/4 curl ram shot after a misidentified target, leading to RCMP involvement and charges, continuing on page 15.
