Heavy rain floods parts of Chetwynd on July 20
Local traffic was diverted as the South Access Road between Winks and the BG Ran line flooded after a heavy rainfall. Public Works crews worked to prevent more flooding and protect eroding creek banks while the E-team assisted with traffic control and debris removal. Weather offices logged 54.6 mm of rain over July 17 and 18, less than the 60.6 mm recorded on June 6, 1988.
