Vancouver biker nears halfway to Whitehorse diabetes goal
Scott Hubbs, the Vancouver to Whitehorse cyclist raising funds for diabetes research, reports 1,123 km covered with 1,491 km left and about 4,000 of his $10,000 goal raised. He expects to reach Whitehorse on July 24, aided by donations from Chetwynd and Williams Lake, amid sore ankles and a months-long slow-down advised by a Prince George therapist.
