Parent School Committees in B C An Overview
The B C Council for Family released a report on parent school committees in the province based on a survey of school boards. Findings show only about 36 percent of boards encourage parent involvement through committees. Dr John Friesen said the council supports these committees as a way to foster positive parent teacher interactions and noted family education concerns at the 1975 76 conference. Further information is available from local school boards.
