Let er Rip music fest a roaring success
Chedwynd reports the 6th annual Let er Rip Country Music Festival drew 250 to 300 attendees over the weekend at Pine Valley Exhibition Park. 17 bands from Edmonton, Quesnel, Kelowna, Hythe, Rocky Mountain House and beyond performed. The event, dedicated to late Lewis Jones, moved from Harris farm to Rotary Park soccer fields and then to PVEP arena, aided by weatherproof indoor seating and ample camping. Organizers Don Harris and Annette Carter plan to return next year and thank sponsors.
