Merchants Discuss Pancake Breakfast and Upcoming Events
Chetwynd's Merchants Association met on July 13 at the Gold Bar Lounge. They discussed not hosting the Pancake Breakfast this year at Village Value Day, potential hosting by another group, and Village Value Day set for August 6 with a Science Show. Reports were shared from the Carson Report, and members were urged to attend the July 13 Chetwynd Improvement Project meeting. Maureen Gammon reported on the July 5 Chamber meeting and the letter of support for Daniel Rothlisberger regarding trees obscuring his business. The association aims to file the 1987 and 1988 books by May 10, with Directors meeting on July 27 and a General Meeting on August 3.
