BC strengthens tenant protections and mental health access
The province updates the Residential Tenancy Act to cover single room occupancy hotels run by non profits and government bodies, enabling dispute resolution access for vulnerable tenants. It also expands rights for manufactured home rent disputes, adds video telehealth for northern mental health services, extends enduring powers of attorney, and offers a free family fishing weekend with no licences. YouBET! expands business training for youth including workshops in film tourism and arts.

Auditor General reviews BC schools safety report
