Paving contract awarded for Jackfish Road projects
Selkirk Paving Ltd of Crescent Valley won a contract worth over 784000 dollars to pave more than 26 kilometres on two roads in the South Peace region. The work includes resurfacing parts of Jackfish Lake Road near Chetwynd and a stretch on Highway 29 from the Highway 97 junction to Martin Creek. The project, to start in July and finish by September end, is tied to regional economic diversification efforts led by Transportation Minister Harry Lali.
