Samuelsson signs three year deal with Vancouver Canucks
Vancouver adds Mikael Samuelsson, a 2008 Stanley Cup winner with Detroit, on a three year contract worth 7.5 million dollars. The right wing, age 32, expects more ice time and offensive chances, likely joining the Sedin twins on the top lines and the power play. Samuelsson cites team hunger and a winning plan as key factors.
