Long blaze at Tembec Pulp Mill in Chetwynd continues
A week after a fire at the Tembec Pulp Mill near Chetwynd, crews from Chetwynd Fort St. John Dawson Creek and the BC Ministry of Forests fought the smoldering log storage and chip pile. No injuries reported though damage includes scales receiving and unloading equipment and conveyors. Assessments ongoing with a release thanking responding agencies.
