West Fraser Biogenic Reagents partner on North American biomass plants

North America's largest lumber producer West Fraser and Biogenic Reagents agreed to expand biomass energy across North America. In Chetwynd the mill operates an 88 gigawatt hour annual plant using Organic Rankine Cycle units to power 8000 homes and cut emissions. The partners pursue new wood waste uses and biocarbon products, with North American expansion plans and potential future plants.
