Young skater Shareen Walter shines in Chetwynd meet
Nine year old Shareen Walter from Chetwynd skated for North Shore Winter Club Vancouver and Dawson Creek, coached by Bob Rubens and Olympic champion Karen Magneson. She won first in Free Skate and second in Artistic at last weekend's Chetwynd competition, trains two hours daily six days a week, aims for the Winter Olympics, and thanks local coaches Carmen and Marilyn Kruzin ger.
