Icemen fall to Canucks as goalie injures finger
The Moberly Lake Icemen lost 9 5 to the Dawson Creek Junior Canucks on January 21. Netminder Matt Shewfelt broke a finger in the second period, leaving him out indefinitely. Icemen scorers were Brigham two Desjarlais and Glen Camille two. Dawson Creek had 41 shots to Moberly Lake's 33. A January 23 game at Peace River was postponed due to poor driving conditions with no make up date yet announced. The Icemen host the Canucks again tonight at the Chetwynd Rec Centre and play the Sexsmith Vipers at home Saturday.
