Lekstrom engages north constituents in Chetwynd town hall
Blair Lekstrom MLA Peace River South spoke at a joint Chamber Rotary lunch and a town hall in Chetwynd last Wednesday. About 70 attendees heard his take on Liberal cuts, healthcare, education, the softwood dispute and the Northern Caucus. He praised the 90 day agenda, defended cuts as fiscally necessary, and pledged to push regional representation on a health board while noting no hospital closure plans. He defended teacher wage talks and touted tax cuts and industry incentives as keys to BC growth.
