Chetwynd backs Tumbler Ridge museum plan
Chetwynd Council will send a letter in principle supporting the Tumbler Ridge Museum and Peace Region Museum of Natural History. Dr. Charles Helm notes since 2001 the group has raised nearly $1 million, led BC’s first dinosaur excavation, and found many tracks and fossils. The plan estimates $49.8 million to build by 2010 with a feasibility study complete.
