Moose carving at Chetwynd may lose antler in theft mystery
Chetwynd Chamber of Commerce reports their chainsaw Bull Moose sculpture now lacks one antler after half an antler and footprints are found in the snow. Oregon carver Michael Schmidt created the piece during the 2006 Chainsaw Carving Championship. If the missing half is not recovered, Schmidt may be asked to carve a replacement. Police and district office seek information at 788 3345 or 401 4100 with no questions asked for safe return.
