Dogs, a cat and sick mule report shocks town
Calls to the SPCA and Pioneer News over a cat stuck on a pole and a very ill mule at Pine Valley Exhibition Park drew scrutiny of Gordon Nikirk’s care for Jenny the mule. Animal control officers found concerns about outdoor exposure in frigid -25 with possible abuse claims and tips from rodeo visitors. Continued on page 16.
