Labour talks resume as BCGEU eyes fair contract
BCGEU reports Labour talks restart to avert a strike by 150 BC Housing Management Commission workers in Prince George Victoria Vancouver and Prince Rupert. Workers seek wage gains job security and improved benefits with 95 percent voting strike backing last fall amid cuts to workloads staffing and service levels. The 13th public service master agreement covers 32000 provincial government employees and expires March 31.
