Women in Inyworkboots At Northern Lights College
Twelve women undertake a 21 week program at Northern Lights College from October 1995 to March 1996 to enter construction trades. The curriculum covers personal development, safety, first aid, math, vehicle maintenance, welding, carpentry, surveying, scaffolding, and more with a March work placement. They just renovated the Legion and now work on shop projects at the college.
