CN Rail crew escaped unharmed after a train delivering empty coal cars to the Teck coal mine in Tumbler Ridge crashed into a snow drift shortly after 4 p.m. on a 100 km spur between Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge. Three of four lead locomotives derailed. it took about two hours to eject them.
