North Caribou Flying Service Plans Shift to Chetwynd
Brie Greer of North Caribou Flying Service presented new schedules at the council meeting outlining discontinuation of service to Tumbler Ridge due to runway and lighting issues. Flights will route Chetwynd to Prince George five days a week with a possible Sunday addition, plus local bookings and a waiting area staffed in Chetwynd. A local pickup service from Tumbler Ridge is proposed to feed passengers into Chetwynd, and Greer will coordinate with Les Woods to avoid bus service conflict. The Mayor and council expressed strong support for the venture.
